Recruitment and Brand Building

As Parsons prepared to launch a satellite campus in Paris, I developed a brand style and identity system employing the Parsons typeface in red along with a blue color hinting at the French flag. After the campus opened, I further pushed the boundaries of design to graphically represent the network of interconnected design laboratories that is Parsons Paris.

As Parsons prepared to launch a satellite campus in Paris, I developed a brand style and identity system employing the Parsons typeface in red along with a blue color hinting at the French flag. After the campus opened, I developed a fresh concept to visually represent the network of interconnected design laboratories at the core of Parsons Paris.

For the brochure and related print and digital collateral developed before the Paris campus opened, I used blue duo-toned images to differentiate the pieces from marketing materials developed for Parsons’ NYC campus and unify the photo assets, which were of varying quality.

 

Business materials, promotional merchandise, digital assets, social media icons, and branded giveaways were created using the dual-color system to reinforce the Parsons Paris look and help build brand affinity.

After the Paris campus opened, I used newly available visual assets to develop a second brochure featuring a die-cut semicircle on the spine, which gives the booklet a playful 3D appeal and injects touches of color to monochromatic spreads.

 

This bold and innovative design concept hints at Parsons’ unique educational approach, which is now operating on a global scale.
